Frequently asked questions

  •  How big are your bubble balloons?
    • Our standard bubble balloons are 20″ but we can offer 24″ too, just email us if you need a larger size.
  • When will my order arrive?
    • If you’ve ordered before 11am and selected next day delivery, your order will be posted the same day, and you shouldl receive your order the next day via Royal Mail
    • If you’ve ordered after 11am, the order will be made up the next day and posted, arriving the following day (or if you’ve selected a certain date, we will dispatch your order the day before)
    • If you order on a Friday, Saturday or a Sunday, your order will be made up on the following Monday.
  • How do I inflate the 3ft giant balloons?
    • For inflation, we recommend that you have a tape measure and get 2 chairs, measuring a space of 80cms between the 2 chairs. When attaching to a full tassel tail, inflate the balloon fully with helium in between the 2 chairs until it is touching each chair and then you will know it is filled to exactly the right size. On a hot day, under-blow the giant to 70cms to prevent popping.
    • For giant balloons on plain ribbon or short tassel tails we recommend a ratio of 60:40 helium to air. Just follow the instructions above, inflating the giant first with approx 15cms of air, then continue with helium.
  • Do I have to be home to receive my order or will it be left?
    • Our orders are sent out via Royal Mail special delivery, so they need to be signed for. For flat balloons and accessories, they are sent first class, signed for, so again, someone will need to sign for the delivery. Sometimes a work address is preferred.
  • Can I order more than one bubble balloon?
    • Yes, we can send consignments of larger numbers of balloons through Parcel Force, we can also select arrival the next day, before 5pm or before noon. Contact us for a price.
  • I’ve ordered a balloon-in-a-box, how long will it stay afloat for?
    • Our bubble balloons are made of plastic, which means we’re able to send them through the post already inflated and they tend to last for 5-10 days from the date of construction. They are filled with helium, and as they start to deflate any wording on the balloons will start to pucker – this is totally normal.
  • Can I order an inflated 3ft giant to be sent to me in the post?
    • No, the 3ft giants are made of latex so they would pop during delivery – they are also huge, so we post them out flat (uninflated)  and you can inflate them yourself.
  • Where do I add the personalised wording for my order?
    • During the order process you will see a ‘Notes’ box, after you’ve added your address – put everything about your order in the Notes box, and we’ll follow your instructions.
  • Where should I store my bubble balloon in a box, until I need it?
    • Please take the balloon out of the delivery box as soon as it arrives as the bubble balloons don’t like the cold and may start to go down if stored in a car or garage especially during the winter months.
    • The bubble balloons prefer a bit of heat and will fill out again if taken from a cold room, into a warm room.
